Friday November 06, 2009 18:38:52 EST
The 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital, 4025 2nd Ave., is holding its second Barking for a Cure at 1-2 p.m. Saturday.
Dogs can get breast cancer, too, and two-mile walk with your dog will be on the Chattahoochee Riverwalk.
All dogs who are registered will receive a free mammary tumor examination.
The animal hospital is the starting point.
A $5 donation will help support a female puppy-spaying program. And your dog will receive a bandana.
In 2008, more than 30 pets and their owners participated.
Call 706-507-7297.
